Spices @ aromatic substances, of which several are named in kjv@Exodus:30. They were used in the sacred anointing oil kjv@Exodus:25:6 kjv@Exodus:35:8; kjv@1Chronicles:9:29), and in embalming the dead ( kjv@2Chronicals:16:14; kjv@Luke:23:56 kjv@Luke:24:1; kjv@John:19:39-40). Spices were stored by Hezekiah in his treasure-house ( kjv@2Kings:20:13; kjv@Isaiah:39:2).
